We can do better for our dogs
The pet food industry is unregulated in Hong Kong. In fact, even in the more mature pet markets, like from the United States and Europe, most of the safety standards for dog foods are self-regulation formed, rather than being restricted from the legal level.
As some of the pet food brands that are only interested in making profits, using the cheapest ingredients and lower the food quality becomes their rule of thumbs. It will create a series of problems to our doggies, of course. What's more, there have been incidents of large of quantity of pet foods are found to be contaminated with melamine and cyanuric acid. Can you imagine there are some dogs keep eating plastic every day during that period?
We 100% disagree with this trend. We decided to use our understanding of food nutrition to cook fresh dog meals so that our fury friends can just live like us with healthy diets and happy life.
Cook only what we know and believe
We make all menus and every step has our own philosophy behind them. Not to conform to trends or other business considerations, but simply to do the best we can. From selecting ingredients, to deciding menus, cooking and packaging methods, we have our own concepts to support our direction for how to cook the fresh meal to dogs the best.

Cook the best dog foods
1 / It starts with Ingredients
We use 100% of imported ingredients, including meat, fruits and vegetables, to reduce the risk of excessive use of pesticides or even toxic pesticides on fruits and vegetables. Make sure meats are antibiotic & hormone-free so that our dogs doesn’t take any harmful chemicals that it shouldn’t eat.
2 / Our Menus
Our nutritionists create different meal menus, each with the goal of providing balanced nutrition. For example, the single plant protein (beans) itself is difficult for dogs to absorb prefectly, but when paired with complex carbohydrates (brown rice), it can be digested well. So we have seen that some dogs who eat vegetarian dog food grow very well, becasue they can absorb plant protein efficiently.
We slow cook the ingredients at a temperature of 80 celsius degrees to maintain the nutrition of the food as much as possible. We believe this is better than steaming or boiling as some nutrients that are most easily lost when cooked at high temperatures, like water-soluble vitamins - B complex. Slow cooking is relatively low-temperature and can maintain the original water-soluble vitamins.
4 / Special Packaging menthod
We know what is the most important, and so we design a special packaging method for early kidney and early diabetes meals. It aims to give you the better control of daily protein and fat intakes.
